Bio
Political Scientist. I am Ramón y Cajal research fellow at the University of Barcelona since July, 2014, and Fellow at the Institutions and Political Economy Research Group. Previously, I was postdoctoral researcher (Juan de la Cierva) at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (Democracy, Elections and Citizenship Research Group), and Phd student at the Pompeu Fabra University, where I graduated in 2009. I have also been visiting researcher at the University of Gothenburg (2012) and Yale University (2007-08). My broad research interests are related to political behavior and comparative politics. I teach quantitative methods and political behavior. |
I am the PI of the POLEXP Experimental Political Science Research Network of Excellence, that aims to foster coordination and academic exchange among research groups working in experimental political science. Among others, we co-organize the 3rd Barcelona-Gothenburg-Bergen Workshop on Experimental Political Science. In 2017 we also host the Fourth International Meeting on Experimental and Behavioral Social Sciences (IMEBESS) |
I joined the Institutions and Political Economy Research Group (IPERG), a research center directed by Prof. Carles Boix at the University of Barcelona School of Economics. The main goal of IPERG is to foster the study the role of institutions (from political regimes to parties and electoral norms) on the emergence of political order and stability, the political representation of individual and social interests, and economic development and redistribution. |
